Information we handle

When you sign in with Google or Apple, we receive an account identifier and the profile information that provider makes available, such as your email and name. You may add a default phone number to your profile.

Listings may include a title, description, category, approximate location, contact details, price, optional photos, and optional category-specific details. HagerList also stores saved listings, reports, event attendance, private inbox messages, and basic view counts.

When you have not chosen a browse location, HagerList may use the country associated with your network address to suggest a country. We use the suggestion only to initialize browsing; we do not expose it as a precise location or save it as your explicit choice. If the network suggestion is unavailable, the app may use your device or browser region setting. This does not use GPS and does not request location permission.

How we use it

We use this information to authenticate you, publish and search listings, prefill posting details, deliver private messages, prevent abuse, investigate reports, and operate and secure the service. We do not sell personal information.

Visibility and service providers

Published listing fields are visible to people who browse HagerList. Private messages, saved listings, and report identities are restricted to the people or administrators who need them. HagerList currently uses Supabase services hosted on our Hetzner infrastructure, Cloudflare for network delivery and country headers, Google or Apple for sign-in, and may use IPinfo as a fallback country provider.

Retention and your choices

You can pause, edit, or close your listings. You can request deletion of your account and associated personal data through the account deletion page. We may retain limited records when required for security, fraud prevention, legal obligations, or unresolved moderation matters.
